Pedro Paloalto also known as “Pete the Pool Guy” started Coachella Valley Pools in March of 2017 after having a career in finance for over 10 years. With the support of his wife Mayra Paloalto and his two beautiful kids Alana and Angel, Pedro bet on himself and began his journey in the pool industry.
Eager to perfect his craft Pedro began to search for Any source of education through YouTube, classes and listening to different pool podcast. Most importantly he apprenticed under his father-in-law Ricardo Moreno who took him under his wing as a mentor and began to teach him the fundamentals of Pool care.
Being a hands-on kind of guy Pedro began disassembling motors, pool pumps, heaters and whatever he could get his hands on to better understand the equipment he would be installing and repairing. Without missing a beat, he jumped on social media and began advertising his business, growing his client base and establishing himself as a respectable pool tech.

Always wanting to help others and living by the model of “paying it forward”, Pedro took non-experienced friends and turned them into professional pool tech’s allowing for them to establish their own business and have the means to feed their families. With this momentum he continues to help fellow pool tech’s by sharing his knowledge and becoming a source of information through social media. Ladies and gentlemen and that’s when TIP OF THE DAAY!!!
was born.

Pedro began to share tips and tricks that he had learned throughout the years with small daily Instagram clips that he continues to do till this day!
