After college Jake Sperounes joined a family member’s pool service company. He liked the work, and they mutually agreed he should start his own business. Sperounes traded in his car for a work truck and by the end of 2022, he proudly served 60 clients. Wanting to differentiate himself in a competitive Florida market, he spent three months studying startup strategies and subsequently began collaborating with a local pool builder. This partnership paved the way for further collaborations with industry leaders such as Trusted Pool and Spa in Bradenton, Agnelli Pools on Anna Maria Island and Water Designs of Sarasota, known for crafting luxury pools in Southwest Florida. Now his company is on track to initiate start-up service for 600 pools through partnerships with these three builders, in addition to managing approximately 300 weekly clients. “My passion for pools is matched by my enjoyment in interacting with homeowners, offering solutions and insights that enhance their experience,” Sperounes says.
